King Abdullah Canute and the 10th Kingdom

Today over 1,500 strong UMNO members attended Breakfast with Tun Dr. Mahathir at the de Palma, Ampang Point, aptly titled "Fikir-fikirkan". The event was well organized and bravely hosted by UMNO Cawangan Pusat Bandar Taman Cempaka, DUN Pandan, Selangor. Bravo to UMNO Cawangan Taman Cempaka and its Ketua Cawangan Syed! True to the current "Kami Sokong" and "d'Rockettes" epidemic viral fever infected by all ketua2 bahagian, the DUN Pandan Ketua Bahagian Dato' Mad Aris is a no show.

Our story for the day is King Abdullah Ahmad Canute Badawi and the 10th Kingdom.

Once there was a Viking King, King Knud or Canute the Great who was surrounded by his bevy of flattering courtiers, not unlike the current PM Abdullah of Pulau Pinang, Malaysia. However, that's where their similarity ends..the HP6 courtiers. Canute as great as he was, knew his limitations and decided to prove his courtier worshippers wrong by bringing his crown to the sea to stop the tide.

Canute the politician
"Let all men know how empty and worthless is the power of kings. For there is none worthy of the name but God, whom heaven, earth and sea obey".

So spoke King Canute the Great, the legend says, seated on his throne on the seashore, waves lapping round his feet. Canute had learned that his flattering courtiers claimed he was "So great, he could command the tides of the sea to go back".

Now Canute was not only a religious man, but also a clever politician. He knew his limitations - even if his courtiers did not - so he had his throne carried to the seashore and sat on it as the tide came in, commanding the waves to advance no further. When they didn't, he had made his point that, though the deeds of kings might appear 'great' in the minds of men, they were as nothing in the face of God's power.

However, it seems Abdullah Ahmad Badawi having not used to much power, suddenly given the golden throne, abuses it and upon making a huge booboo, never knows nor admits his limitations. He thinks he can command the waves from rising. He never realizes men are nothing in the face of God Al-Mighty's absolute power.

It also seems all the NO GOOD politicians originated from Pulau Pinang. They are no good to the Malays and the country. We have Anwar Ibrahim, Sulaiman Palestine, and now Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.. all pengkhianat bangsa's specie of politicians. Perhaps it came as a result there was no royalty in Pulau Pinang and the fact that Pulau Pinang is a melting pot of immigrants not unlike Singapura. Thus, they have no respect to a higher authority such as the royals of the country.

So it seems Abdullah has started the 10th Kingdom in Pulau Pinang and arrogantly plopped himself at the throne, eventhough his state has recently been taken over by DAP. It is true the Malay adage goes..menang sorak kampung tergadai. While Dollah terjun dengan labu-labunya, his HP6 Majlis Tertinggi UMNO courtiers keep on singing the song.. "biarkan..biarkan".
